The outdoor swimming pool was like a polar bear plunge, perfect for a quick icy dip. The bar had a wide selection of drinks, great for drowning out any noise from the children's playground and barbecue.

Oh, how I detest having access to WiFi and private parking at a charming chalet. Truly dreadfully inconvenient.

I recently stayed at Country Cottages and had a wonderful experience. The two-bedroom cottage was cozy and had everything I needed. The bird life around the property was amazing, and the wifi was great. The restaurant served tasty food with a smile, and the staff, especially Craig, the owner, were incredibly helpful. They even catered to our emergency needs when the town shops were closed. The attention to detail was impressive, with little extras like charcoal, matches, and pool towels provided. it was a clean, comfortable, and value-for-money stay.

I recently stayed at the Country Cottages in Hluhluwe and I have to say, it was exceptional! The cottages were spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the little terrace in the frontyard, which allowed me to admire the sunset while enjoying a BBQ. The location was peaceful and safe, and even though I arrived late, everything was well-planned and thought out. I can't wait to come back and stay longer!

The cottages are situated in a beautiful location overlooking a meadow. The house itself is very spacious with three bedrooms, making it perfect for a group or family. The kitchenette is well-equipped for cooking and there is also a fire pit outside for a cozy evening. The owner and his team were extremely service-minded, providing us with excellent assistance throughout our stay. Plus, the location is close to Hluhluwe Imfolozi park and St Lucia, allowing for easy exploration of the area.

Upon arrival, we found one of the beds undone and noticed spiders and spider webs above the main bed. The room was not properly cleaned, and when we requested assistance, the lady who came was rude and unfriendly.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, with comfortable beds and top-notch bathroom facilities. The view of the animals was great and the pool was amazing. The complimentary charcoal for the BBQ was a nice touch. The air conditioning in the rooms provided relief from the heat. The on-site restaurant had friendly and helpful staff.

We had a fantastic stay at Hluhluwe Country Cottages! The location was amazing, surrounded by beautiful bush and a lovely signed walk through nature. We even got to see Nyala, Impala, and Wildebeest during our stay. The cottage itself was cozy and had all the amenities we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The pool area was a great place to relax, although it could have been a bit more private from the road. We also enjoyed shopping at Ilala Weavers, where we found some lovely items. great value for money and a wonderful experience.

Although the cottage was lovely, the furniture could benefit from an update, especially the lounge suite and curtains. Additionally, a prior warning about not being able to drink the tap water would have been helpful.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom cottage and loved the comfort it provided. The gas cooker was a great feature in case of load shedding, and the complimentary firewood and charcoal were a nice touch. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and having a restaurant on the property was convenient. The Saturday farmers market was a delightful surprise, and we enjoyed watching the animals in the neighboring conservancy area from the stoep.

The units at Hluhluwe Country Cottages are just perfect for someone like me who wants to be in direct touch with nature. The cozy seating area provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the air conditioning ensures a comfortable stay. I loved having satellite TV in my chalet, allowing me to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. Having a kitchenette in the units was a huge bonus for me, as I could prepare my own meals and truly feel at home.

Although others may find enjoyment in it, I personally found that not having a terrace in some units was a bit of a disappointment. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

The 3 bedroom cottage was well equipped and spacious. The owner was very helpful, assisting with late check-in and a flat tyre. The small touches like free charcoal and fire lighters were lovely. The close proximity to the restaurant and the serenity of the place were incredible. Seeing wild animals just beyond the fence was breathtaking, especially at sunset. The convenience restaurant on the property had friendly staff, great food, and service. Graig and Jacqui, the hosts, made us feel right at home. The walk through the game park to the dam was a beautiful experience. it was a great place for families and the parking felt safe.
